Riding the Broom to the Quidditch World Cup

NEW YORK CITY- On November 12, 2011, 90 teams competed in the Fifth Annual Quidditch World Cup, a sport that evolved from a fantasy game in the Harry Potter books into a real rough and tumble competition. The Delaware Valley Dragons, a community team of players from New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania, represent the tri-state area.
